Movers for Moms®
Movers for Moms® is a campaign created by TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® to give back to moms in need each Mother’s Day. TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® locations nationwide team up with local businesses, organizations, schools and community partners to collect essential care items which are donated to local women’s and family shelters leading up to Mother’s Day weekend.
Since our Akron franchise started participating in this yearly donation drive over fifteen years ago, we have been able to collect over 15,000 donations and over $8,000.00. Since I came on board in 2016 I have been able to double the amount of donations received each year. All donations collected have gone towards The Battered Women's Shelter of Summit and Medina Counties. This Past Spring I was able to collect and donate over 3,000 donations on behalf of our Akron franchise.

Every year TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Akron hosts events and partners with local community leaders to raise not only donations, but awareness to our Movers for Moms® donation drive.
Movers for Moms® Night at Canal Park
Every Spring since 2016 I have partnered with the Akron Rubber Ducks to host a Movers for Moms® donation drive at Canal Park in Downtown Akron. The first two hundred people to bring a donation receive a ticket to the game. During the game more information is shown on the jumbotron with donation locations, events and resources all revolving around The Battered Women's Shelter.

Fox 8 News Live Segment
Before every game, and at least once during the Movers for Moms® season TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Akron is featured on Clevelands own FOX 8 News. Whether I am promoting our Night at Canal Park, featuring some Movers for Moms® inspired custom cardboard creations, or simply letting folks know where and how to donate during the drive, our friends at FOX 8 are always there to help our location get the word out live during their morning news coverage.
